community & program director

As Community and Program Director, Laurel’s primary role is to create, maintain, and enhance a connected staff culture where each person is seen and valued. Her other main responsibility is coordinating intakes for the practice. As the bridge between clients and staff members, she strives to maintain a smooth and responsive intake process.

Within Practical Audacity, Laurel collaborates with HR, the Clinical Director, and the CEO to cultivate the emotional well-being of the practice, as well as the entire administrative team to improve the behind-the-scenes processes of Practical Audacity. Laurel assists with the hiring process and pays special attention to integrating new staff members into the team during onboarding.

Outside of Practical Audacity, Laurel is responsible for establishing strong relationships with external referral sources in order to locate high-quality resources for our clients. She also connects with folks who want to collaborate with our work to better service the community.

Laurel joined Practical Audacity in 2019 and is truly passionate about fostering a vibrant and caring community.
